SEWER INSPECTION CAMERAS

In this age of video, from "youtube" to surveillance cameras did you realize that a video camera is available for your sewer pipe as well? Yes, you can now mystically journey through your sewer pipe to precisely inspect its condition as if you were only 2" tall. The equipment that makes this possible is a flexible rod connected to a high resolution camera with tiny floodlights which transmits images from below to a monitor above as you push it through the pipe. You can even record the trip on VHS.

It is very useful to identify a cause of concern in your sewer before experiencing the trauma of a total backup. Once you identify the problem, you can take appropriate corrective measures without wasting time or big money, whether it is roots, a clog or collapse. So, you needn't dig to replace the pipe for a clogged sock or try to auger for hours through a collapse. You will know to use a saw bit for roots, or retrieval bit for that sock. The system is also very useful to inspect the effectiveness of your pipe cleaning after you are finished, so that it doesn’t reoccur. Without it, your overall effect is merely speculation.

In addition to sewer line inspection, these cameras are handy for a multitude of uses limited only by imagination such as inspecting ductwork, chimneys and in our area retrieving lost valuables underwater or in the river.
